Having played sports in both
High School and at the College level, There were
many more memories than just the game itself.
Taking a bus to every away game is one of my favorites.
Whether it was an hour drive or a six hour road
trip, it was a fun and bonding experience, playing
cards, telling stories, talking sports, or just
having time to unwind. I had some of the best
times of my life on those bus trips. After entering
the Corporate world and entertaining clients at
games, I found that it just wasn’t the same
experience I had growing up. You’d meet
up at the game, go to your seats, and sit in a
row all facing forward and never really get to
talk or visit with the people you went with. I
thought to myself, there has got to be a better
a way to do this.
I looked into the Skybox luxury
suites, but you know the deal there. Way too much
money, you have to purchase season packages, years
of waiting lists, 20 person minimum, etc…plus
I still wanted to sit in the stadium and be part
of the crowd. Later that same year the owner of
the company I worked for took about eight of the
top sales reps to a Bears game and set up a little
tailgate party before the game as a thank you
for all the hard work we done, it was exactly
what I was looking for when I entertained clients,
a fun way to talk and take in the full experience,
Well, except the shopping, the unpacking, the
set up, the cooking, the cleaning, no restroom
and of course the drive home after a few cocktails,
nevertheless, still a great way to network and
visit with clients or friends before and after
the game. Then it hit me. Why not blend the best
